Aleksander Serov is a Russian singer, composer, arranger, and instrumentalist. He is best known for his work with the Russian rock band Aquarium, which he joined in 1981. He has released several solo albums, including "The Best of Aleksander Serov" (2003) and "The Best of Aleksander Serov, Vol. 2" (2005). He has also composed music for films and television series, including "The Irony of Fate" (1975) and "The White Sun of the Desert" (1970). Serov was born in Kovalivka, Ukraine, and began playing the guitar at the age of 12. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory and graduated in 1977. He then joined the rock band Aquarium, where he wrote and arranged music. He has since released several solo albums, including "The Best of Aleksander Serov" (2003) and "The Best of Aleksander Serov, Vol. 2" (2005). Serov has composed music for films and television series, including "The Irony of Fate" (1975) and "The White Sun of the Desert" (1970).
