Andre Sayegh is a Lebanese politician and former mayor of the city of Tripoli. He was born on 2 November 1954 in Tripoli, Lebanon. He is 66 years old. Sayegh graduated from the Lebanese University with a degree in law in 1979. He then went on to pursue a master's degree in public law from the University of Paris in 1982. Sayegh has been involved in politics since the early 1980s. He was elected to the Lebanese Parliament in 1992 and served as a member of the Parliament until 2005. He was also a member of the Lebanese National Dialogue Committee from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, Sayegh was elected mayor of Tripoli, a position he held until 2016. During his tenure, he was credited with improving the city's infrastructure and services. Sayegh is married and has three children. His net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.

An ex-employee of Citibank for over 18 years, Sayegh has been instrumental in bringing about many needed reforms to the bank’s structure. Along with the managing director, he has been successful in making First Gulf Bank a leading regional organization attaining tremendous growth rates. He has introduced new products and modernized the bank’s operational system.
