She then went on to become a professor of philosophy at the University of Paris. In 1972, Badinter founded the advertising agency Publicis, which she ran until 2000. She has also served as a board member of several companies, including L'Oréal, Air France, and the French bank BNP Paribas. In 1981, Badinter founded the French feminist organization Choisir, which she still heads today. She has also written several books on feminism, including "Le Conflit: La Femme et la Mère" (The Conflict: The Woman and the Mother), which has been translated into several languages and has sold over a million copies. Badinter has received numerous awards for her work, including the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor, the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit, and the Grand Cross of the Order of the Star of Italy.
