In 2016, Rushden joined talkSPORT as a presenter and reporter. He currently hosts the station's flagship show, The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, alongside Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist. He presented the Saturday morning Sky Sports show Soccer AM alongside Helen Chamberlain from August 2008 until 2015.
